I’m Julie, a proud mom, dedicated educator, and seasoned school counselor with over two decades in children’s social and emotional development.
I began as a classroom teacher, where I saw how playground disputes or personal struggles could overshadow any lesson. From supporting a grieving child to helping a refugee feel safe, I learned how vital emotional support is to academic success. I knew that to help students truly thrive, I needed to care for their hearts before reaching their minds. This inspired me to become a school counselor, dedicating myself to building the emotional skills children need for success in all areas of life.
Social-emotional learning (SEL) is more than a curriculum; it’s a foundation for life. For kids to succeed academically, they need strong relationships and a sense of belonging. To build these connections, children must learn to regulate emotions, manage conflicts, and understand other perspectives. SEL nurtures these skills, helping children grow into resilient, open-minded individuals who see mistakes as learning opportunities.
As a mother, I’ve seen SEL transform family dynamics, fostering sibling unity, easing competition, and helping my kids navigate social challenges. We guide them to see that each family member plays a unique role and that a safe, loving home supports everyone’s growth.
IMPACT Kids Coach is my way of sharing these skills with more children. I create story-driven videos that make complex topics relatable and meaningful. My goal is to equip students with tools to reach their potential—and to support parents in reinforcing these lessons. I’m here as another voice in the chorus, helping your child become the best version of themselves to make their best IMPACT!
Warmly,
Julie Rainer

But guess what? We're here to learn how to spot those ANTs and squish them away so you can make your best IMPACT!
