Julie is the founder of IMPACT Kids Coach, a proud mom, dedicated educator, and seasoned school counselor with over 20 years of experience in children’s social and emotional development. Starting as a classroom teacher, she quickly recognized how emotional challenges could impact academic success. This inspired her to become a school counselor, focusing on equipping children with the emotional skills they need to thrive in all areas of life.

Julie believes social-emotional learning (SEL) is the foundation for academic achievement, strong relationships, and personal growth. Her work empowers children to regulate emotions, manage conflicts, and understand others’ perspectives—skills that build resilience and foster a sense of belonging. As a mother of four, Julie has seen firsthand how SEL transforms family dynamics, strengthens sibling connections, and helps children navigate social challenges.

Through IMPACT Kids Coach, Julie shares story-driven, research-based videos that make complex topics relatable and meaningful for students, parents, and educators. Her mission is to help every child discover their unique potential and grow into compassionate, confident individuals.

Kristine is a curriculum specialist who brings her expertise in social and emotional learning (SEL) and curriculum development to IMPACT Kids Coach. As a specialist in the International School Counseling Association (ISCA) standards, she ensures our teaching is standards-aligned and reflects best practices in SEL education. Kristine excels in making content engaging for students and comprehensive for educators. She thoughtfully enhances our curriculum to be interactive, meaningful, and accessible for students, educators, and parents alike. At IMPACT Kids Coach, we believe every child deserves the tools to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Our approach is rooted in research-based strategies designed to be engaging, relatable, and tailored for kids aged 8–12.
